A start reminder of the winter of 2011, November 2014 started with a snowstorm which hit a big swath of the state, from Central Maine to Eastport. over 100,000 people lost power. Our friends over in Searsmont got over 15” and didn’t get their power back until four days after the storm. For many of us the snow dissipated by Friday the 7th. The storm was a nice wake up call for those of us who have been lounging in the aftereffects of a beautiful summer. Time to finish sealing up the porch and getting the storm doors installed!
