Johanna works with her husband, David,in her Farmingdale, Maine, studio making hand-carved (or not) gilded or painted picture frames for fine art collections. She is an independent scholar in picture frame making history, with a keen focus on Maine, it's artists, art colonies, and frame makers. She is an artist who works in a variety of media including analog, primarily pinhole, photography.
